Initial consultation, 1 hour
$170
Your initial consultation is a comprehensive 60-minute appointment designed to understand your health, your relationship with food, and what you want to achieve.
We’ll begin by exploring your medical history, medication use, current nutrition intake, blood glucose patterns (if relevant) lifestyle, and any concerns around eating patterns and food behaviours. This helps build a full picture so advice is tailored, practical, and relevant to your day-to-day life.
Together, we’ll identify your main priorities and challenges, and discuss realistic strategies to support your goals. This may include nutrition education, meal structure ideas, carbohydrate management support, or guidance around appetite changes and food intake depending on your needs.
You’ll leave the session with clear, achievable next steps and a plan that feels manageable—not overwhelming. Where appropriate, follow-up sessions are recommended to review progress, refine strategies, and provide ongoing support.
My approach is collaborative, non-judgemental, and focused on helping you build confidence and clarity around food and nutrition.
Review consultation, 30 minutes
$85
Your 30-minute review consultation is a focused follow-up appointment designed to monitor progress, refine your nutrition plan, and provide ongoing support tailored to your current needs.
We will review changes since your last appointment, including dietary intake, appetite, symptoms, and progress towards your health goals. For clients on GLP-1 medication, this may include discussion around appetite changes, food tolerance, nutritional adequacy, and strategies to support muscle and bone health, energy levels, and sustainable eating patterns.
For clients with diabetes, we may review carbohydrate management, blood glucose patterns (where applicable), and practical strategies to support day-to-day diabetes care, including diabetes technology use if relevant.
The session will focus on problem-solving any current challenges and adjusting your plan to ensure it remains realistic, effective, and supportive of your long-term goals.
You will leave with clear, practical next steps and updated strategies to support ongoing progress.
Follow-up frequency will be guided by your individual needs and treatment plan.
Medicare & Private Health Insurance
I see clients under Chronic Condition Management Plans (CCMP) and Eating Disorder Management Plans (EDMP). These are Medicare-subsidised care plans arranged through your GP and can provide rebates for a set number of dietitian consultations each calendar year. Please note there will still be an out-of-pocket gap fee for appointments.
To access these rebates, you will need to speak with your GP to determine your eligibility and obtain the appropriate referral and plan.
You may also be able to claim a rebate through private health insurance, depending on your level of extras cover. It is recommended that you check directly with your health fund regarding your specific entitlements for dietitian services.
